I’m a student at the College of Saint Rose and have started this blog site for a class that I am currently taking; Literary Genres and Traditions.  I’m a childhood education major with a concentration in English.  The reason that this blog was created was to write about certain topics or themes of literature that we are reading in class and to be able to express and analyze what we feel is going on with the text.  I feel as though this is a great introduction to blogging because I have never experienced blogging before.  It’s very new to me but i’m having fun with it.

A little information about Martink852

I’m a sophmore in college and I love to write. Summer is my favorite season, although I do enjoy the first day that it snows (but one day is all I can take).  I would love to move somewhere where it is summer all year long.  I want to teach first grade someday in a public school setting.  I have always enjoyed working with kids and I can’t wait until the day comes that I can have my own classroom and be able to teach.

This blog will hopefully help me analyze the literature that i’m reading more closely.  I feel as though that is a very important concept.  Expect to read about a lot of different blogs consisting of different pieces of literature that i’m reading in my class!
