The Good Life; Vacations.

As we all know, it’s always nice to have that once a year( at least!) vacation. Whether you go away for a weekend or you choose to “splurge” and take that full 10 days off from work/school, it’s still nice to enjoy your time away from the hectic society that we are living in. The Good Life could mean many things; music, art, entertainment, etc, etc, etc… In my opinion the one thing that makes you completley relax and forget about your “life” for a week is going away on a nice vacation, perhaps florida. Not too extreme, but a nice get away. A nice way to escape the cold weather in Upstate New York in the winter. It involves excitement, planning, and many fun activities. One interesting activity/ contest that was just announced for Florida/Walt Disney World was a search for mom’s that have gone through the stress of planning a vacation for their families. Walt Disney World Resort Is Looking For a Few Good Mom’s.
As part of “The Year of a Million Dreams,” Disney announced today the launch of a nationwide search for moms who have mastered the art of planning a Walt Disney World vacation. Twelve finalists will be selected to serve on the first-ever online Walt Disney World Moms Panel. Those 12 parents who have a passion for the Walt Disney World vacation experience will have the opportunity to share their vast knowledge of the resort and personal secrets of success with other families who are considering this magical vacation experience. In exchange, the 12 panelists will receive a 6-day/5-night vacation to the Florida resort for themselves and three other guests.
This experience that they are offering is one of a kind. They are rewarding mom’s that have put the time and effort into coming to the Walt Disney World resort and planning everything that their family is going to do for that week. It gives the mom’s a type of successful feeling.( which they should have anyways!) I think that its great that there are resorts as big as Walt Disney World that want to reach out and make 12 families tremendously happy and give them a nice week stay at their resort. That sure is a way to make someone feel appreciated and Walt Disney World is showing it’s appreciation to the effort that mom’s put into coming to it’s resort.( Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure that some Dad’s do their share of planning too!)
